Your camera video
The webcam test, lighting check, and quick check all run entirely in your browser using the standard getUserMedia API. Video is analyzed and displayed locally on your own device. None of it is transmitted to our servers, stored in a database, or accessible to us in any form. Closing or reloading the tab discards it immediately.
Reviews you submit
If you submit a product review, the rating, comment text, and optional name you enter are stored in our database and read by a person before being published — reviews are never auto-published. This is the only feature on the site that stores anything you enter.
What we do collect
Like most websites, our hosting provider logs basic technical request data (IP address, browser type, page requested) for security and reliability purposes. We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to third parties.
Cookies and local storage
We don't use tracking cookies. Your browser may use local storage for basic preferences (such as remembering a chosen theme), which stays on your device and is never sent to us.
